Frequently Asked Questions
We welcome all types of video games at any stage of development, from early prototypes to near-complete builds. The only requirements are that the game's playtest is free to play and follows our content guidelines (no hateful, illegal, or NSFW content).
At this current moment, games that are linked through Steam and IGDB.com are prioritized in the Playtest Portal approvale queue for the convenience of the players.
For a playtest:
- Create an account (or log in if you already have one)
- Go to "Register Playtest" in the navigation
- Find your game (if your game does not appear skip below) and fill in playtest information
- Submit for approval (usually processed within 48 hours)
For a game:
- Create an account (or log in if you already have one)

- Click "Can't find your game? Register it"
- Auto-fill details using IGDB database or manually fill in form
- Submit for approval (usually processed within 48 hours)
No, we're an independent platform not officially affiliated with any game store or development platform. However, we do provide integration options for platforms like Steam to make your playtesting process smoother.

Absolutely! All playtests listed on our platform must be free for participants. Developers may choose to reward testers with keys or other incentives, but charging for access to a playtest is against our policies.
